Our properties
Turner and Calder Cottages are neighbouring cottages in the village of Embleton. There is nothing but Emble farmland and dunes between the cottages and the sea. Ideal for couples or solo travellers.
The farmhouse (The Blue House) sleeps 8 but we can let it for fewer. It’s time to gather your people!
Turner Cottage
A one bedroom cottage, renovated in 2026 and neighbouring Calder Cottage in Embleton, Turner is so-named after the artist JMW Turner who was greatly inspired by this Northumbrian landscape.
Calder Cottage
Our original cottage in Embleton and a firm favourite among guests. A one bedroom farm worker’s cottage with breathtaking views of Embleton Bay and a beautiful meadow garden.
The Blue House
Four bedroom farmhouse on our farm steading in North Sunderland, near Seahouses. A rural setting and homely welcome, close to the sea, combining the old, new, colourful and unexpected.
